Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all bookings made with Mystic Melodies Events. By submitting a booking form and paying a deposit, you agree to the following conditions.

Bookings & Deposits

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure your event date. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due [X days] prior to your event date. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in your booking being cancelled.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel your booking, your $100 deposit is non-refundable. If you wish to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate an alternative date, subject to availability. Cancellations made within [X days] of the event date may forfeit any amounts paid beyond the deposit. Mystic Melodies Events reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances. In this case, a full refund of all payments made will be provided.

Travel & Service Areas

We service Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Byron Bay. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

On the Day

Please ensure there is a safe, clean, and accessible space ready for your performer upon arrival. For mermaid experiences, pool access and appropriate surrounding space must be prepared in advance. Mystic Melodies Events reserves the right to refuse or cease a performance if the environment is deemed unsafe for our performers or guests.

Behaviour & Guest Safety

Our performers are professionals and are to be treated with respect at all times. We reserve the right to end a performance without refund if a performer is subject to inappropriate behaviour from guests or adults present. Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children at all times during the event.

Photography & Media

Mystic Melodies Events may photograph or film performances for use on our website and social media. If you do not wish to be included in any promotional content, please notify us in writing prior to your event. By not opting out, you consent to Mystic Melodies Events using event imagery for promotional purposes.

Weather

We recommend having an indoor or covered backup space available in the event of wet weather. Outdoor events affected by severe weather will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and we will work with you to find the best solution.

Liability

Mystic Melodies Events takes all reasonable care in the delivery of our services. However, we accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from events beyond our control. It is the responsibility of the event host to ensure the venue and environment are safe for all guests and performers.
